Crystal Palace Football Club had made a planning application for the development of their Youth Academy in Bromley. An objection from the Environment Agency (EA) due to flood risk led to the project being potentially delayed. MAB Consultancy were bought in post the objection to resolve the issues. Within a short timeframe, the key issues were identified and mitigation measures agreed, which alongside robust advocacy on behalf of the scheme, enabled the objection to be lifted within the club’s programme. A Flood Risk Activities Permit (FRAP) was then successfully made for the works.
